German astrophysicists, led by Raphael Haumann, proved by observations that the gravity of the Sun does not deflect photons as it follows from Einstein’s general theory of relativity, that Eddington’s observations do not correspond to reality.  Die Allgemeine Relativit\u00e4tstheorie macht die Vorhersage, da\u00df Licht in der N\u00e4he massereicher Objekte durch gekr\u00fcmmten Raum abgelenkt werde. Diese Ablenkung soll w\u00e4hrend der ber\u00fchmten Sonnenfinsternis von 1919 nachgewiesen worden sein. Einstein hatte einen Wert von 1,75 Bogensekunden f\u00fcr den Bereich unmittelbar oberhalb der Sonnenoberfl\u00e4che angegeben. Nach Arthur Eddingtons Darstellung wurde dieser Wert best\u00e4tigt und gilt heute als eine der gro\u00dfen Beobachtungsst\u00fctzen f\u00fcr Einsteins Theorie. Allerdings mu\u00df man nach der Allgemeinen Relativit\u00e4tstheorie auch in einiger Entfernung zur Sonne noch eine substantielle Ablenkung erwarten. Diese ist noch nie beobachtet worden, was den Schlu\u00df nahelegt, da\u00df die 1,75\u00bb an der Oberfl\u00e4che eher mit der Plasma-Atmosph\u00e4re der Sonne zu tun haben, als mit einem Gravitationseffekt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
